    How did you get started in Horseshoe Pitching: 
    My brother in law was attending tournaments at a local bar and decided to set up a horseshoe pit. A few of our friends jumped on board and it's been an obsession ever since.

    What are some accomplishments or disappointments in your horseshoe pitching career?
    A good friend passed away in 2005 and we pitched horseshoes into his grave. I think of him when I'm in a tight spot because the first six pack I topped was his.

    In your opinion who is the best pitcher you've ever seen and why:    
    Dan Englebert is the most passionate pitcher I have ever met he is 83 years old and makes it to all of the bar tournaments and the nhpa events, he is a bad ass
    What pitcher has most influenced your game and how:    
    Steve Moquin coached me in the beginning, in the middle of a thunderstorm was when I finally started to get it.
    Who was your toughest opponent and why    
    Myself! Jon Edward Molden, and a lack of muscle memory, concentration, confidence and drive. These are every pitchers toughest obstacles.
    What advice would you offer other pitchers?
    Let's make this thing grow, get active in the promotion of the sport. seek out the recreational pitchers and get them to join up. My buddy Dave Newton and I have recruited the hell out of Tucson and we are just getting started. Brigade for life
    What are some of your other sports activities or hobbies?
    As a founding father of the Devils Brigade and Picture Rocks Horseshoe Pitching Association I have been sand blasting used horseshoes to send to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. We call it Shoes For The Troops. www.diablo-forge.com
