March 9, 2007 Base and underground work ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By the end of this week: - all of the under-floor plumbing will be installed and inspected. - the floor perimeter form boards will be installed where ever possible. (Some areas need to stay open for now for the concrete trucks to get in for the first two pours.) - the rock which goes under the slabs should be installed in the front building and the south pitching court building. - the primary water line will be installed as far as we can without the final permits for it. - the sewer line will be installed as far as we can without the final permits for that. We are hoping to get the steel pit frames for the south court building installed with Quail Ridge Club volunteers this weekend, in between the rain drops. We are due for "showers" Friday and Sunday. If they prove to be minor, we should be able to: - pour all of the front building floor about Tuesday. - pour the broom-finished south court building floor Thursday. - prep the north court rock base Friday. - bring the volunteers back to set the steel pit frames for the north building the weekend of March 17th (Irish need not apply). We have the pre-engineered steel building materials on hold, and expect to be able to deliver them around mid-April and begin steel erection shortly thereafter. |
